Who we are

We are Oregon’s first commercial recreation space specifically designed for people with disabilities. Our goal is to build community not only for the individuals we serve but for whole families.

Our Story

I grew up in Gresham with two brothers who have disabilities, and I saw how hard it was for them to make friends and find places where they felt accepted. My parents also faced a lot of social isolation, as there weren’t many opportunities for them to connect with other families in similar situations.

After working in my local school district and seeing the positive impact of sensory rooms, I realized there was a gap in services. Indoor playgrounds aren’t always accessible or inclusive for kids with different needs. That’s when I decided to create SensoryNW. We hope that Sensory NW blesses your family.

What makes us unique

We offer different sensory rooms for different sensory needs (see, hear, touch, move).

We are community focused.

Coming to open play is as easy as 1,2,3:

  1. Buy pass or become a member

  2. Pick a time that works best for you

  3. Use your special code entry # to get in
